Dr. Wacker brings more than three decades of executive leadership experience in higher education, including two university presidencies and service as provost and chief academic officer. She has spent her career assembling and developing leadership teams, moving strategy from plan to execution, guiding institutions through change, working effectively with boards and governance bodies, and building innovative programs that open new markets and strengthen financial position.
Recognized as a Twin Cities Business Notable Leader in Higher Education, a designation honoring best-in-class executives in Minnesota, she has led institutions through the full range of challenges facing colleges and universities today. As leader of Springboard's Higher Education Practice, she brings the perspective of an executive who has been accountable for the decisions leaders in higher education are now facing.
She served as President of St. Cloud State University and Interim President of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.
